Cafe Maru: The cozy cafe, playroom, bedroom

I wake up some mornings and sit and have my coffee and look out at my beautiful garden, and I go, 'Remember how good this is. Because you can lose it.'

/*I admit to not knowing about being a blogger and I admit that this page has not shown a succulent sweet post from any of us for 48 years. But, who cares? its fun when you have a blog you can use as a closet, where you store delicious memories.*/

Exactly a year ago, to the date, I invited my best buddies out for a coffee. It may sound simple but for us who haven't seen each other for some time,( due to our boring, ridiculous routine called job,) it was special. (And mind, we haven't had coffee together since we mostly meet at malls)

So there, they  had no idea I was going to bring them to Book Cafe Maru. Its a Korean-owned, Korean-inspired cafe with such a very cozy room, you'd wish your own bedroom was designed the same way.

see our lovely background?

The moment we entered we said our Ooohs and whoahs and then sniffed the awesome smell of  coffee wafting through the air ^_^

no I'm not going to go about the usual cafe-feature about Cafe Maru. You can see a lot of that on the internet. This is going to be more like a recollection of what's best about the cafe and the experience we had.

So moving on, if one is mindful and looks at the pictures one will notice the card and pictures with Monkey D. Luffy's face on it. These photos were actually printed postcard that we were intending to give to Shienna for her birthday. It was a bit too early but we were planning to send it through snail mail so it should be about two weeks earlier. Cute right? doing snail mails in this world that runs on technology. Yeah :D

The rest of the 4 hour stay that we had was devoted to figuring out the correct way to fit a 500-piece puzzle together. It was childish but it turned to be fun.

the maybe you can say we take fun seriously because TADAH! its complete

The best thing and the most unforgettable about this place was their music playlist. If you were born on the late 80's and grew up in the 90's then the music is very homey for you. I mean when Nsync, Aaron Carter, Westlife, Backstreet boys, Red Hot chili peppers, Simple Plan, Sum40, Lifehouse, Craig David, Britney, Stephen Speaks, Linkin Park etc.. is singing in your ears while drinking a cup of marvelous iced-coffee then dipping your spoon from time to time to to a yummy whipped cream, what else will  you look for?  Even my ultra-mega favorite song Out of League was played. Imagine my euphoria! haha

So let me conclude this here. Oh yeah I remembered my cousin-friend Keith stopped by and took a picture with us. Sadly its on my very obsolete and beyond repair tab so I can't post it here :'(

Still I will find my (and for sure the girls too)way again to this cafe..

Oh jen were u there? i didnt notice you much on the pictures haha
